Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress best well-known for her role as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television series Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington from Ohio dropped out high school, and relocating into Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. In 2001, despite her financial struggles it was possible to land her first major role in the online video show Rachel's Room in the role of Rachel's Room's principal character. She went on to earn a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder which aired in Greenwich. She is part of Gyllenhaal's family and is the elder sibling of Jake Gyllenhaal. The first time she appeared in films of her father in his adolescent years. Along with her brother, she was also in Donnie Darko (2000). Her next roles were in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind which was released in 2002 as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal's leading roles in Secretary, an erotico-romantic comedy, as well as Sherrybaby (a drama) have earned her nominations to the Golden Globe Awards. She had a number of films that were commercially successful, including World Trade Center.
